Founded in Flandres
Founded in famous Flandres (Flanders), Urthel sits very right for its quirky characteristics of a Belgian-styled range of ales.
Bottled post-fermentation, Urthel superior ales combine well with gastronomy: great food matchers! That’s why Urthel drinkers enjoy life to the occasion, matching local and fine dishes with the range of specialty beers.
Unique in its combination of Saison and white beer, the blonde and irresistible Saisonniere is a sparkling golden, slightly cloudy but outstandingly fresh beer, with a strong 6% zing. With its foamy head, this delicious biere de Saison is best savoured in combination with salmon, goats cheese and spicy dishes.
Hop-It is a unique special brew, high of its 9.5% ABV and sophisticated level of bitterness. Inspired by American traditions, it marries aromatic European hops. It reminds beer lovers of the natural and refreshing bitterness of Indian Pale Ales (IPAs). Tasteful accompaniment for velvet-soft cheeses or delicate fruits, Hop-It is best enjoyed with white fish and chicken dishes.
Samaranth is a really unique degustation beer, created in the ancient Flemish tradition. Dark and towering its 11.5% ABV, this special dark beer has a subtle soft-sweet taste, with rich aromas of dried fruit, refined bitterness with a hint of chocolate in the after-taste. On cooler evenings, the beer is ideal for strong cheeses, red and game meat.
