Too Many Chiefs
Orchadist-crafted from Goulburn Valley
A couple of years back, three enthusiastic guys and their wives realised they didn’t need to look too far off their fruit farms to form Too Many Chiefs, ironically setting themselves as their own ‘Chiefs’, set to embark on the cider voyage.
One Summer night in Shepparton, when the Chiefs were relaxing around some cider drinking, they brainstormed the opportunity to transform an abundance of Goulburn Valley fruits into wonderful ciders, just as what they were sipping away through the night.
Too Many Chiefs part-owner is also an estate-growing orchardist, whose fruits are today carefully blended to create their own cider. Too Many Chiefs cider is crafted using 100% Goulburn Valley grown fruit, free of concentrates.
From Shepparton, heart of the famous Goulburn Valley, Too Many Chiefs has two quality ciders, produced using carefully selected apples and pears straight from the backyard orchard.
The handcrafted Pear & Apple blend has a fresh fruity aroma with a clean, crisp and generous mouth feel although subtle sweet finish.
The Apple cider is handcrafted from a selected variety of Goulburn Valley apples, creating a complex though well-balanced cider with a zesty, dry finish. It has a fresh apple aroma featuring a clean straw colour.
Too Many Chiefs ticks boxes since it is 100% Victorian-grown, using 100% apples and pears from its orchardist, without the need for added concentrates or sugar. It’s also good to know that it’s gluten-free.
