Champagne Philippe Fourrier
Degustez notre histoire pour la vivre | Try our story to live it
La Maison Philippe Fourrier, the Champagne House, was founded in 1847.
In the heart of the Southern Champagne region of Cote des Bar, birthplace of the great appellation Pinot Noir grape variety, Philippe Fourrier is a proud 5th generation winery owner, where his wife, son and daughters are still involved from their own Baroville vineyards to the delicate wine shops and boutiques of the World.
Julien, Philippe’s son, has been carefully trained for 2 decades now to master the entire development process in the production of Philippe Fourrier champagnes.
While Stephanie, eldest daughter, took their champagnes to parts of Europe, the US and Canada from 2012, Mathilde, Philippe’s youngest daughter has shown deeper commitment in recently settling in Australia as brand Ambassador so as to nurture their champagnes in the highly competitive backyard of French Champagnes & Australian Sparklings.
All of Philippe Fourrier’s champagnes have received quality accolades, recognised by leading wine connoisseurs and Awards such as Guide des Vins Gilbert & Gaillard, Effervescents du Monde, Concours Mondial Bruxelles and Decanter World Wine awards.
Unlike most of the other 300 Champagne Houses in the region, Philippe Fourrier primarily uses Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes where minimal Pinot Meunier varietals are crushed.
The Champagne portfolio consists of 100% Pinot Noir, 100% Chardonnay, non-vintage and vintage releases, a Rose de Saignee as well as the exceptional Barrel-aged 100% Chardonnay.
