Lieshout, south of the Netherlands, was already in the beer scene in the 1680s. But Bavaria’s evolution from a village brewery to a global brand took 7 long generations and some visionary determination from the Swinkels family to make Bavaria present in over 140 countries.
The passion of the Bavaria brewers and 300 years of experience make Bavaria the family’s DNA. Brewed by family tradition, Bavaria carefully selects the best ingredients, from barley to hops, whilst choosing their own yeast.

Only the finest hops are purchased from a handpicked selection of farmers, guaranteeing a refreshing beer. Bavaria is also one of the few World breweries to malt their own barley from their own malt house. All of which providing exceptional, pure taste.
The Dutch-style pilsners have kept tradition since 1719 using finest quality ingredients. The pure water used from their 100% natural springs give a crisp, neat finish to the beer. Bavaria is always fresh, never too bitter with a subtle hoppy nose and palate.
An increasingly bigger range of Bavaria is fully imported from the South of Holland.
